My name is Orla Leech and I spent two years in Moate Business College from 2013-2015.  In my first year in Moate I completed the Level 5 Business and Office Adminsitration course where I studied a number of modules including bookkeeping, spreadsheets, word processing, text production and legal studies.  

After getting an insight into the office environment, I decided this was a career I would like to persue so I spent my second year in the college completing the Level 6 Advanced Adminstration course. 

In my second year I was greatly encouraged by the tutors in the college to apply to complete my work placement in the HSE, I secured a place there where I spent a number of weeks where I got a huge scope into the different deparments within the hospital.  I thoroughly enjoyed this work placement and I knew this was the future career I would like to persue.  After the completion of my course in 2015 I was offered a position in the HSE. 

I would highly recommend the college to anyone, especially the extremly helpful tutors who gave me the encouragement every day to work towards persuing a life long career.  I have learned so many skills and abilities from the time I have spent in the college, along with meeting some great people that I will have with me for many years to come.
