College Accomodation
College Accomodation
There are three types of college accomodation;
1) Campus accomodation-living with other students in an apartment or small town house on the college grounds or right beside the college. Students living in campus accomodation do not need to pay bills as heating and ESB are generally part of the price.
2) Off-Campus accomodation-living in a house or an apartment not run by the college. These houses and apartments can be near of far away so be careful when booking! Often a lease agreement must be signed. Bills such as ESB, Heating etc must be paid for ontop of rent and also organised by the students.
3)DIGS -This is where a student moves into a house with a family. Meals are cooked for the student. Depending on the family the student may not be able to return to the house during the day. Depending on the family a curfue may be in place.
