Established in 1784 as the sole provider of surgical training in Ireland, RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences continues in this proud tradition to this day, while also offering degree programmes in Medicine, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Advanced Therapeutic Technologies. RCSI was also the first medical school in the Republic of Ireland to introduce a Graduate Entry Medicine (GEM) programme in 2006, enabling students from a range of undergraduate backgrounds to study Medicine.

RCSI is also home to Europe’s most advanced clinical simulation facility. From the earliest stages of your studies, you will combine classroom learning with hands-on experience in simulated and real clinical environments at RCSI teaching hospitals. Medicine and Physiotherapy students will learn anatomy through regional cadaveric dissection and benefit from being taught by working surgeons and healthcare professionals.
