SETU in Carlow offers a higher than average employment rate of 93% at graduation and rising further to 96% within six months of graduation. The national graduate employment rate is 85%.

SETU in Carlow offers niche courses, many of which are unique to the Institute, in areas such as : Brewing and Distilling, Agribusiness, Cybercrime and IT Security, Data Science, Aviation and Aerospace Engineering, Medical Device and Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs.

Facilities

SETU in Carlow offers first-class facilities and is mid-way through a €150million capital programme that has already delivered the Dargan Centre for Research, the Centre for Aerospace Studies, the Haughton Building for teaching and learning,  and a dedicated student services and sports facilities centre. Further plans include a 30-acre South Sports Campus, a new customised campus for Wexford, a new advanced science and technology building and the development of a further site adjacent to the Carlow campus.

Clubs & Societies

Students enjoy more than 80 clubs and societies and reap the benefits of smaller class sizes, greater interaction with academic staff and a friendly, welcoming campus.
