College Life
For a relatively compact campus, IADT has the facilities, enthusiasm and energy to punch way above its weight in terms of what’s going on outside the lecture rooms. Our new 4 story Digital Media Building contains 19 state-of-the-art digital design studios, advanced computer laboratories, classrooms, seminar rooms, and the main campus restaurant.
Student Services
At IADT The Student Experience team and the Student’s Union are available to offer support to all IADT students across the academic year. The Disability Support service aims to promote inclusion, advocacy and active participation in college life. The service provides equal access to education for IADT students with a range of disabilities and mental health conditions.
International Students

Clubs & Societies

IADT has many thriving clubs and societies, and a large portion of the students participate in at least one. See a list so far below and If the society or club you want isn’t here, you can set one up yourself by talking to the Student Union.

Accommodation

Studentpad is an online accommodation search website where IADT students can search for accommodation in the local area. Local homeowners, landlords, Student Halls and Letting Agents can use Studentpad to advertise available accommodation.

Fees and Grants

An annual student contribution is payable by all full-time undergraduate students. This amount, subject to change from year to year, includes an examination fee and is payable for each year of study. Students who receive a grant may have this contribution partially or fully covered depending on the level and type of grant received.

Student Supports

We know that the transition to third level education can be challenging. Therapeutic and educational services respond to the personal, psychological, social and academic needs and concerns of students.

The Student Experience team and the Student’s Union are available to offer support to all IADT students across the academic year. One-to-one appointments can be facilitated online and on campus. We urge students to seek supports as soon as difficulties arise, no matter how small, so that we can provide advice and support to help you with any issues you may face throughout the year.

Our Student Counsellor can support you through include depression, anxiety, panic, OCD, bereavement and loss, relationship concerns, low self-esteem, sexual identity and more. 

The Access office is available to support students who may have concerns or queries for advice on financial supports. 

The IADT Careers Centre is available to help and support students and graduates in their career planning and research. 

The Disability Support service aims to promote inclusion, advocacy and active participation in college life.

Transport Links

IADT is situated in the Dún Laoghaire/Deansgrange suburb; The institute is best served by the E2 and 7D* buses and is within walking distance of the 7B, L26, L27, 111 routes. For information on the areas served by these routes please consult www.dublinbus.ie.

Please note that IADT is approximately 3km from Dún Laoghaire DART station and you would require a connecting bus (E2 or L27) to get to IADT’s Kill Avenue campus. There is more information on location and transport options here.
