Monaghan Institute Announce the Sport & Academic Scholars 2022-2023
Monaghan Institute are delighted to introduce you to the successful recipients of Monaghan Institute’s Sport and Academic Scholarships for the current academic year.
Sport Scholarships
The Monaghan Institute Sports Scholarships have been awarded to recognise excellence in talented sports athletes and to encourage outstanding performance in a variety of sporting disciplines. The selection of our scholars is based on their current performance and also considers previous sporting achievements. Congratulations to this year’s Sport Scholars; Breffni O’Reilly, Shane Monaghan, Oisin Byrne, and Tighearnan Mack, who were selected from a number of applicants and have been awarded individual bursaries.
Academic Scholarships
Monaghan Institute’s Academic Scholarships recognises the calibre of our incoming
high-achieving students and are presented to first year students who achieved 400 points or more in their Leaving Certificate 2022. Congratulations to this year’s Academic Scholar; Matthew McCaul, who was selected from a number of applications and has been awarded a bursary.
