The week began with a warm welcome at Firda College in Drachten. Here, the teachers had the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge VR technology. This hands-on experience sparked many ideas for integrating virtual reality into their classrooms. Such innovative approaches are at the heart of the Erasmus+ programme, which strives to broaden educational horizons and enrich teaching practices.
Following their time in Drachten, the group also travelled to Amersfoort, a city renowned for its medieval charm and vibrant history. The teachers were warmly welcomed by Stichting Praktijkleren, the Practical Learning Foundation, an organisation committed to enhancing vocational education. The visit to Amersfoort was more than just a professional exchange; it was also an immersion into the city's rich culture.
This Erasmus+ Community of Practice Programme was an excellent opportunity for MI staff to collaborate, innovate, and grow their technology skills. The aim being to provide MI students with practical, real-world learning experiences.
