Youth Ensemble is our six-month teen drama programme. Taught by leading professionals, many of whom also teach on the Foundation Diploma in Acting and Theatre and the Bachelor in Acting undergraduate courses at The Lir Academy. Our Saturday acting classes designed for young people aged who are looking to take the next step in their actor training journey. The course will cover key elements of actor training including Voice, Movement and Improvisation. As well as stage acting the training will also include an introduction to screen acting.

Introduction to Theatre Directing Starting: 24 Sept 2025 Over the course of 10 weeks, we will explore and define the role of the director in theatre. Students will learn how to navigate the different stages of directing a show from prep to rehearsals, to tech. We will cover interpretation of text, relationships with writers and working with new work. Book now here
