Kildalton is the largest Teagasc college. It is a leading provider of training in Agriculture, Horticulture and Equine Studies. Close links have been developed with the local Institute of Technology in Waterford (WIT) making the college a progressive learning facility in the South East. There are over 500 students currently registered on courses at Kildalton College.
85 full-time residential students are accommodated in single rooms at the college. Recreational facilities include TV, video, pool room and a playing pitch for hurling, gaelic, football and soccer.
The farm consists of 180 hectares where the main agricultural and horticultural enterprises are carried out. The campus also has a modern horse breeding and training enterprise.
