A hands-on mainly practical course for those looking to gain an apprenticeship in the construction industry or to learn the necessary skills to carry out building projects with confidence.
The methods and theory of building construction techniques, materials and joinery will be covered in studio work and built projects. BIFE has a fully equipped Workshop room with specialised machinery where all aspects of timber construction will be covered by practical project work. The student will also learn to produce architectural and workshop drawings with technical methods and CAD.
