FET Course of the Week: 5M2083 – Hotel and Front Office Skills with Barista at Tullamore Further Education Centre

Do you aspire to work in the exciting hospitality industry? The Hospitality Industry is fast paced and high energy, where communication and team working skills are very important.

The PLC 5M2083 – Hotel and Front Office Skills with Barista at Tullamore Further Education Centre, Offaly, is a one year long Level 5 course with progression to CAO Courses. 

This programme will give you the unique opportunity to study hospitality at QQI Level 5 and to gain valuable work experience in local hotels and restaurants. During the programme you will get the opportunity to attend 10 sampling days in the Culinary Arts Kitchen and Training Restaurant in Athlone of Technology (AIT). These 10 days will give you the opportunity to experience studying in AIT and to be in an advantaged position if you wish to progress to AIT to study in their Hospitality Department. Award title:  QQI Level 5 – Certification in Hospitality Operations. 

Entry Requirements

Leaving Certificate or QQI Level 4, or equivalent standard of education. All applicants are subject to an interview and an online assessment.
