Design the future: Explore AI tools and thinking to transform your creative practice. This is a live-online, 7-week programme. Classes are 6.30-9pm on Wednesday evenings.

The Professional Certificate in AI for Design helps creative practitioners integrate AI into their design process and shape the future of their field. Through a critical, practical, and future-facing lens, the programme explores the power and potential of designing for and with AI.
Learners will develop technical, ethical, and conceptual fluency in AI tools while anticipating what’s next in design innovation.

This course is designed for creative professionals and designers eager to expand their practice and embrace emerging AI tools and methods.
What will I study?
Understand key concepts in artificial intelligence and their relevance to design
● Explore tools and methods for designing with and for AI technologies
● Evaluate and critique AI-generated outputs within different design contexts
● Investigate ethical, professional, and practical issues in AI-driven design
● Apply principles and frameworks for integrating AI into design processes, identify opportunities and limitations of AI
● Recognize how AI can enhance innovation and impact within organizations, considering future trends and possibilities

Funding
NCAD with the Creative Futures Academy is delighted to collaborate with Cultural & Creative Industries Skillnet to offer a special partnership rate of €350 for qualifying candidates, which includes those resident in the Republic of Ireland and not already in receipt of a bursary, grant aid or a scholarship for this course and not participating in a CE scheme or in receipt of Unemployment Benefit.
