CIT holds a Mathematics examination for applicants who have expressed an interest in any of its programmes that require certain minimum levels of performance in Mathematics. The purpose of this examination is to provide such applicants with a “second chance” opportunity to achieve these minimum Mathematics entry requirements.
The Admissions office has no further information about the Maths Exam than is already provided below, so we kindly ask that you read the information carefully.
The 2020 CIT Mathematics Examination will take place on Tuesday 15th September 2020. The Examination will take place at The Melbourn Examination Centre, CIT Bishopstown Campus (map here).
An Application Form can be accessed at the bottom of this page and will close at 1.00pm on Monday next, 14th September 2020, after which an email will be sent to applicants with further instructions and directions to the exam venue. Payment cannot be made in person at CIT.

NB: A separate examination fee is payable in respect of each examination.
Paper One (Ordinary Level): €30.00
Paper One (Ordinary Level) & Paper Two (Higher Level): €50.00
There will be no refunds for those applicants who apply and pay, but do not take the exam.
The examination consists of two papers. Paper 1 is compulsory for all candidates.
Paper 1 (morning)
Paper 1 is set at Leaving Certificate Ordinary Level.
