From Hospitality Management at MTU to hotel group Managing Director

Posted on November 12, 2024 Patrick Shields liked MTU’s Bishopstown Campus so much he came back to complete a Masters!

Patrick is the Joint Managing Director of the multi-award winning Cliff Collection, stunning 5-star boutique hotels that promise opulence with a feel of home. He completed the Bachelor of Business in Hospitality Management at MTU and a number of years later having worked in Canada, the US and Australia, he returned to do his Masters at MTU.

Patrick maintains a close connection with the University, sitting on expert panels and supporting us through guest lectures and attending out annual Careers Day where he inspires future hotel managers.
