This four-year degree blends politics, social studies and media, preparing you to understand and influence the world around you. You will explore the relationship between the political system, community organisations and NGOs, and the media’s influence on democracy and public discourse.

From the beginning, you are a fully registered student of both City of Dublin FET College, Rathmines, and TU Dublin, giving you access to supports, resources, and student life across both institutions. Embedded awards mean that if you exit after any year, your learning is formally recognised with qualifications at Levels 5, 6, or 7.
