The apprenticeship in Industrial Electrical Engineering leads to the award of a Level 7 Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) Degree and has been specifically designed as a progression for qualified electricians who wish to upskill and to move into engineering roles in industry.
Students will gain a thorough understanding of the theory, concepts and methods in the engineering sciences and electrical technologies which are relevant to the Industrial Electrical Engineer.

Realist
Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.
