This practical one-year business accounting course is designed to provide an excellent foundation for learners wishing to study Business and/or Accountancy at Third Level. This course will allow the learner to build skills in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, communications and information technology. This course also provide learners with the knowledge and core business skills to enter employment directly. The course develops effective and persuasive written and oral communication skills; numeracy and the ability to research, interpret and use business and financial data and information. The student develops self-reliance, initiative and the ability to manage time, projects and resources.
