    Describe the process of setting up and operating a payroll system within an organisation and fulfilling employer obligations.

    Identify and compute various components of payroll, various pay types of adjustments and deductions from taxable income and deductions from after tax income.

    Calculate net pay using the correct statutory tax basis and calculating all statutory deductions using a variety of scenarios. Calculate the impact of legislative changes on take-home pay.

    Operate a computerised payroll system-desktop or cloud- based-to produce accurate information that reflect employee details and payroll processes.
