Successful completion of this course will be the first step towards a career working with sports teams or individuals as a qualified strength and conditioning coach.

Specialist courses are provided as an option for students to achieve ITEC qualifications to industry standard, equip- ping you with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in the field of strength and conditioning.

As a student on this course, you will spend four days per week in college receiving extensive training in instruction and conditioning techniques. Practical training will take place in our fully equipped gym on campus. On the fifth day, you will be based in an industry set- ting such as a strength and conditioning facility or a gym where you can enhance your skills and employment opportunities.

Students are encouraged to participate in college sports activities which are generally held on Wednesday afternoons.
