This is a one-year QQI Level 5 full time course. The overall aim of the programme is to provide the learner with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence in the area of science to work independently and under supervision in any science laboratory environment or in the field and to progress to further and or higher education and training.
On successful completion of this course learners are awarded a 120 credit QQI level 5 Major Award in Applied Science.
