A QQI Level 5 Health Service Skills student is compassionate, practical, and motivated to enter the caring professions, they may also have relevant life experience and is interested in working with people who need support to include older adults, individuals with illness or disability or those receiving community or residential care services.
By doing this course an individual can work as a healthcare assistant or progress to healthcare or social care degree programmes depending on the entry requirements.
