This dual career programme is a unique opportunity for high level players to experience full-time coaching, training & education. Coaching and Training is provided by professional coaches at Galway United. The programme is aimed at players with a proven track record at an advanced level of the game. It enables students to develop and perfect their soccer performance skills whilst also gaining a full QQI qualification in Sport, Recreation and Exercise at level 5, the successful completion of which allows for progression to Universities & TU's. A substantial element of this course is the provision of additional coaching hours in a high performance environment. FAI coaching qualifications are included in this award. This is a full-time course with coaching delivered by UEFA qualified coaches.
