The BA (Hons) in Audio Computing is a response to the growing industry demand for graduates with music and audio programming skills and a solid understanding of sound synthesis and audio processing techniques.
The primary aims of this programme are to provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of the digital representation of sound and music and the programming skills to design and develop a diverse range of audio and music applications. Important areas of focus include the representation, processing, querying, analysis, synthesis and generation of music and audio data in all its forms.
