Building on the foundations of Theatre Directing Level 1, this 10-week intensive guides experienced students through the full lifecycle of a production, from initial preparation to technical rehearsals. The curriculum focuses on text interpretation, working with new writing, and the technical artistry of translating a creative vision into a cohesive visual stage design.
Beyond the script, the course emphasizes leadership and collaboration, teaching directors how to effectively communicate with designers and foster a safe, focused environment for actors. Through practical workshops and analysis, participants will refine their individual craft and professional directing style.
