The aim of this programme is to equip learners with the knowledge, skill and competency to achieve a QQI Level 5 Mechanical Pesticide Application 5N20435. On completion learners will be able to identify legislative requirements in relation to the use of pesticide, demonstrating understanding of the principles of application by being capable of using a range of pesticide applicators including a boom sprayer, slug pellet applicator and a propelled weedlickers safety, using required PPE, setting up and calibrating correctly and completing all relevant required paperwork.
