Course Summary
The BA (Hons) in Interior Design is a 4-year course. It has a common first semester, after which students also have the opportunity to switch to another design programme if they wish (subject to available places).
Topics on the programme include Photography, Digital Media, Design History & Theory, Creative Problem Solving, Business & Entrepreneurial skills and an Ethical and Sustainable Design ethos. Interior Design Students will learn about the design of interior spaces, 3D model making, building regulations, ergonomics and human centred design, textile and surface design, interior design - surfaces, materials and finishes, interior design - integrated interior design project, and building information modelling.
