If you hold a Level 5 qualification in a relevant discipline and wish to explore in more depth psychological and social issues of marginalisation such as disability, mental health, disadvantage and life challenges, then this course is suited to you. You will develop your understanding of the services in our communities and the psychological interventions that support wellbeing and rehabilitation with a view to learning about the power that communities have to support their members and each other. The course enables learners to work in people-focused careers in the community and voluntary sectors or to pursue Higher Education progression options.
QQI Level 6 Certificate in Social and Vocational Integration (6M2218).
QQI Component Maths (5N1833) – available as an option in evening for learners requiring Maths for progression.
