This travel and tourism course is a broad tourism course aimed at those students who are interested in a career in travel and tourism. Students will do a range of areas, from cabin crew training, airline studies to travel agent studies. At the end of the year, students will be awarded with two tourism qualifications, a QQI level 5 certificate in travel and tourism and a certificate from the International Academy of Travel, which covers cabin crew training, passenger services and travel agent training.
Qualified students will graduate with the benefit of having gained valuable practical knowledge of how to deal with customers in person or by phone, a better understanding of the necessary skills required in the tourism sector, have a deep understanding of the passenger service agent & cabin crew role and responsibilities, as well as excellent personal presentation and front line people skills adapted to the tourism and travel sector.
