This one-year full time QQI Level 5 course equips the learner with the vocational skills and knowledge to work in television studio production crew roles or in single camera crew roles in a managed environment in a range of television and film production contexts or to progress to further or higher education and training.
The course qualifies people to seek jobs in the TV/Film industry, either in production, editing or scriptwriting. Some graduates have opted for self-employment as freelance TV/Film Producers/Scriptwriters. Award holders may apply for a place on the Advanced Certificate in Media/Radio Level 6 course in LCFE MSC.
