This Level 6 course will be an advanced course to suit participants with previous childcare training who wish to develop a career in childcare at the supervisory management level.
What is Advanced certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education?
These childcare modules will be supplemented with courses from the Business, Social Care and Nursing areas which will equip participants for a wider range of career opportunities in childcare management. On the successful completion of the award the student will have acquired the knowledge, skills and competence to work in an early childhood education and care setting.

Career Progression
On the successful completion of the award the student will have acquired the knowledge, skills and competence to work in an early childhood education and care setting. Skills acquired will provide the successful student with the ability to lead and co-ordinate a team in the provision of an early childhood care and education. This award will provide students with opportunities to transfer and progress to programmes leading to higher education and training awards at level 7 and level 8.
