This one-year, NFQ level 5 course equips the learner with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills and competence to work in an Accounting and/or business environment. Accounting is an integral part of all business. This course provides a good entry point to the principle elements of Accounting and practices.

The programme also includes taxation, business law, payroll, statistics, communications and software applications.

On successful completion of this course learners are awarded a 120 credit NFQ level 5 Major Award in Business Studies.
