This course is designed to give students an introduction to Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Science and covers a variety of areas related to the sciences. In addition to developing your scientific knowledge, studying Biomedical & Pharmaceutical science enables you to develop a wide range of skills, including problem-solving, teamwork, data handling and analysis, organisation, and communication.
This broad skill set will be extremely valuable no matter what career path you choose. The mathematics element allows students to bring their levels up to the competence relevant to their intended third level course. Students will also have the option to study other modules along with science to shape their qualification for entry to their desired course or area of employment.
