Entry Requirements
Candidates will be expected to hold a minimum secondclass honours degree Level 8 qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent. As this programme caters for all professions, any Level 8 qualification will be considered.

This programme provide advanced applied skills and postgraduate learning for civil engineers who are currently working or wish to pursue a career in the road services sector. Graduates can build on successive completion of this programme by progressing to Year 2 of the Postgraduate Diploma (2 year programme) and /or MEng in Road and Transport Engineering L9 (3 year programme) and achieving a major QQI postgraduate qualification on NFQ.
Further Study
Upon successful completion of this programme, graduates can apply to transfer into Year 2 of the Postgraduate Diploma or Masters of Engineering in Road and Transport Engineering Level 9 on-line programmes at ATU Sligo.
