Course Summary
The aim of the programme is to critically explore the key pillars of integrated care in order to engage with the concept from an individual, community, organisational and international perspective. The programme is designed to be inclusive of a cross sectoral mix of professionals working in public and NGO services that interact with people who have longitudinal and complex care needs.

Entry Requirements
Irish/EU Applicants
Health or social care professional. Applications from community development, digital health professionals and others engaged in integrated care will be considered. BSc (Hons) or equivalent NFQ* Level 8 qualification in health, social care, or cognate discipline. Original and translated copies of transcripts of results must be supplied.
Non-EU applicants

A sufficient level of English to study in Higher Education.
Verify that the medium of instruction for their Bachelor was English or meet one the following minimums:
IELTS 6.0 (no less than 5.5 in any 1 band)
PTE Academic 50
Occupational English Test (OET) 250 overall with no less than 200 in any one skill
What is RPL?
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is when formal recognition is given for what you already know prior to starting on a programme or module. With recognition of prior learning the focus is on learning and not on experience as such. You can apply for RPL in any MTU accredited programme or module. Programmes which are accredited by professional bodies or any external awarding bodies may have their own procedures for RPL which you should refer to.

The fees for the programme will be €1,685 and students will not be charged the €95 capitation fee as the programme will be delivered online.

Investigative
The Investigative person will usually find a particular area of science to be of interest. They are inclined toward intellectual and analytical activities and enjoy observation and theory. They may prefer thought to action, and enjoy the challenge of solving problems with sophiscticated technology. These types prefer mentally stimulating environments and often pay close attention to developments in their chosen field.
Administrative
Administrative people are interested in work that offers security and a sense of being part of a larger process. They may be at their most productive under supervisors who give clear guidelines and while performing routine tasks in a methodical and reliable way.
They tend to enjoy clerical and most forms of office work, where they perform essential administrative duties. They often form the backbone of large and small organisations alike. They may enjoy being in charge of office filing systems, and using computers and other office equipment to keep things running smoothly. They usually like routine work hours and prefer comfortable indoor workplaces.
Career Progression
On successful completion of the programme, graduates will have gained 15 credits at NFQ level 9 that can contribute to the achievement of other academic awards, such as a Postgraduate Diploma or Master of Science programme. Students may use the academic credit gained from this programme towards further postgraduate advancement in Integrated Care.
