The M.Sc. combines advanced education in research methods by internationally recognised experts; modules on how research engages with policy and politics and on the latest research debates on key policy and societal issues, taught by a range of specialists drawing on their expertise and direct experience; and a research project, undertaken in collaboration with external agencies and/or groups.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must have a recognised primary degree which is considered equivalent to Irish university primary degree level. The entry requirement is an honours degree of at least a 2:2 in Social Science or a cognate discipline or international equivalent is required.

Applicants for whom English is not their first language are required to demonstrate their proficiency in English in order to benefit fully from their course of study.
