The MSc in Data Science and Analytics is a 12-month conversion course (new in 2017) designed to give students the knowledge and skills to collect, process analyse and visualise data in order to extract useful information, explore patterns and evaluate models.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must hold a minimum of a 4 year bachelor's degree (NFQ Level 8) (or equivalent) with a minimum of a second-class honours, grade 1 (2:1) with a score of 65% or higher with strong numeric content to include three/four math modules with a minimum of 60% in the following subjects: Applied Mathematics, Linear Algebra (& Matrices), Fourier Transforms, Probability, Integral Calculus, Differential Calculus, Graph Theory (& Combinatorics), Discrete Mathematics, Mathematics for Engineers, Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry (& Calculus), Numerical Methods and (Partial) Differential Equations.
