De ghnáth, bunchéim Onóracha le Dara hOnóracha grád 2 (II.2) ar a laghad sa Ghaeilge agus grád II.1 ar a laghad i modúil na teanga a bhíonn ag teastáil. Déanfar iarratais a mheas freisin ó iarrthóirí a bhfuil céim acu in ábhair eile ach ar féidir leo an cumas cuí sa Ghaeilge a léiriú.
