Entry Requirements
The entry requirements for students entering these programmes is Level 8 H2.2.
Recognition of prior learning will be in line with ATU Academic Code of practice number 6. Prospective students who hold a level 7 degree may be recommended to undertake a level 8 bridging module for example Foundations in Research (NURS08142) prior to commencing the programme.
Application Details
Flexible learning courses are popular, and they fill on a first come, first served basis. There are two major intake periods throughout the academic year, September and January.
For January start courses, applications typically open in October, and for September start courses, applications typically open in February. Closing dates for applications are listed on the individual course webpage.

Progression
Students who complete the Certificate in Applied Leadership and Management may wish to progress to the Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Leadership and Management and ultimately to the MSc in Applied Leadership and Management.

Recommended Study Hours per week
It is recommended that students should try to allow for 5-6 hours per week per 5-credit module.
On-Campus Attendance Requirement:
Attendance is required at the Mayo Campus for 4 x 2 days residential sessions per semester (Thursday and Friday once a month).
