Entry Requirements

Criteria for standard entry applicants
This programme is open to any radiographer who:
- Holds a postgraduate qualification in MRI. Submission of the transcript of this qualification must accompany the application.
- Is working in an MRI department and can guarantee 100 clinical hours in their MRI department over the duration of the Spring trimester.

Applicants working in Ireland must be registered with the Health & Social Care Professionals Council (CORU: https://www.coru.ie/(http=s://www.coru.ie/) ) and have Department of Health & Children approval to practice radiography in Ireland.
Applicants working in Northern Ireland or the UK, should be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC: http://www.hcpc-uk.org/(http=://www.hcp=c-uk.org/) ). Applicants from other EU countries must be registered with the appropriate national professional body.

Candidates are required to nominate a suitably qualified clinical supervisor to oversee their clinical experience.

List of mandatory documentation:

- Signed Clinical hours declaration form from your Radiographic Services Manager or nominee, indicating agreement to provide the requisite number of clinical hours during the course (100 hours) (Clinical Hours Declaration Form Adv MR Safety attached)
- Letter of support from RSM confirming release of student for lectures
- Proof of post-graduate qualification specifically relating to MRI (certificate mandatory and transcript on request)
- Diagnostic Imaging Reference Form
- Employment History
- English Language Test (non-English language speaker).
