Course Summary
The aim of this programme is to produce graduates in the field of Computing (Human Centred Artificial Intelligence Technologies) with;
1. A systematic applied knowledge of the key issues around Human Centred Computing (including Ethics, Transparency, Trust)
2. The ability to understand and participate in the design, development and deployment of AI solutions using current technologies in the field Artificial Intelligence and
3. An understanding of where technologies fit into the business and technology strategies of organisations.

Entry Requirements
Honours Graduates (Level 8) with an award at 2.2 or higher in a field with relevant technical/ numerate/ computing knowledge. Applicants who have an Honours Bachelor's Degree (Level 8) in a listed or a cognate field (e.g. Computing, Scientific, Mathematical, Engineering, or Business IS/MIS discipline), at a minimum award level of 2nd class honours grade 2 (2.2), will be considered for entry if their prior experience is considered an adequate background to prepare them for the programme.
Students with a lower grade of level 8 award than a 2.2 and some years of suitable experience may also qualify for admission. In these cases, competence in Programming, statistics and computing environments may need to be demonstrated. Candidates not attaining this standard level must achieve an acceptable standard for progression by other means approved by QQI. All applicants must have competence in spoken and written English. Candidates may be interviewed to determine eligibility.
