The Human Capital Initiative (HCI), a five-year project, investing €300m of National Training Fund (NTF) funding commenced in 2020. The Intel Women in Technology scholarship program offers a monetary grant, valued at €3,000 per annum, as well as opportunities for work placements at the Intel Leixlip and Shannon campuses. Each scholar is also assigned a mentor who is an Intel employee to assist and provide advice on managing their academic career. Congratulations to Ciara O'Reilly, a third-year Mechatronic student at DCU Faculty of Engineering & Computing, who was awarded €3,000 by Intel in 2022 as part of their Women in Technology awards.

The International Consilio Manuque Medicine scholarships has been established by RCSI Alumni to support undergraduate students who have an exceptional academic record of accomplishment and have demonstrated determination and motivation to study medicine at RCSI. The Scholarship is open to all Non-EU students who are self-funding (i.e. not attending under another scholarship programme), who have applied to and been accepted on the Graduate Entry Medicine Programme (four year) or Direct Entry Medicine programmes (five and six year tracks). Students are eligible for consideration when they have accepted their offer to attend the medical school. Applicants will be considered on academic merit and a holistic review of their scholarship application. Assessment will be based in academic and personal achievement to date and an evaluation of the students potential to become an outstanding future medical doctor. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an interview as part of the application process.
