Ten BEdGaeilge scholarships of €2,000 each are offered for competition on the basis of results in the Irish Leaving Certificate Examination or equivalent. The Scholarships are tenable only in University College Cork, for the First Year of the BEdGaeilge.
Two scholarships of €250 each are awarded annually to incoming first year students who are registered for 15 credits of Celtic Civilisation, based on their overall performance in the Leaving Certificate exam.
The College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences offers up to five scholarships of between a minimum of €1,750 and a maximum of €3,250 each for incoming students on 500+ points who register for at least two languages from French, German, Italian, Hispanic Studies and Chinese Studies (Mandarin).
The Quercus Entrance Scholarships are awarded to First Year undergraduate students admitted via CAO onto a full-time Level 8 primary degree programme. Recipients are selected on the basis of being among the top 15 students in their College with respect to Leaving Certificate Examination Points achievement or EU equivalent (approximately 60+ awards with title and parchment).
