The Aim High Medicine Scholarship provides support for Irish Leaving Certificate students who excel academically and are passionate about developing a lifelong career in medicine. One scholarship is awarded each year to a student who is HEAR eligible.

This scholarship offers additional financial support of €25,000 in total, for the duration of the Undergraduate Medicine programme.

The purpose of the Consilio Manuque Medicine scholarship is to foster academic excellence and is awarded to the student with the highest combined Irish Leaving Certificate (or equivalent school leaving examinations) and HPAT score, entering the RCSI Undergraduate Medicine programme.  The Consilio Manuque scholarship is worth €25,000 in total, for each successful applicant, divided across the duration of the Undergraduate Medicine programme.

The International Consilio Manuque Medicine scholarships has been established by RCSI Alumni to support undergraduate students who have an exceptional academic record of accomplishment and have demonstrated determination and motivation to study medicine at RCSI. The Scholarship is open to all Non-EU students who are self-funding (i.e. not attending under another scholarship programme), who have applied to and been accepted on the Graduate Entry Medicine Programme (four year) or Direct Entry Medicine programmes (five and six year tracks). Students are eligible for consideration when they have accepted their offer to attend the medical school. Applicants will be considered on academic merit and a holistic review of their scholarship application. Assessment will be based in academic and personal achievement to date and an evaluation of the students potential to become an outstanding future medical doctor. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an interview as part of the application process.

RCSI offers a number of International Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences Scholarships for self-funded, international (Non-EU) applicants to the following RCSI School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences programmes: International (Non-EU) applicants who have an offer to study either the BSc Advanced Therapeutic Technologies or Pharmacy (MPharm) at RCSI and are self-funded (i.e. not attending under another scholarship programme) will be automatically eligible for consideration for an International Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences Scholarship. This scholarship provides an additional €1,500 reduction in tuition fees for the first year of study only (i.e. reduced from €18,000 to €16,500).

RCSI is delighted to be listed as one of the Irish higher education institutions whose students are eligible to apply for Opens in new windowUversity financial support. Uversity offers financial scholarships to mature students, resident on the island of Ireland, who are planning to undertake their first undergraduate degree from 2025. Mature students are classified as students who will be over 23 years of age on 1 January in the year of admission. Its scholarships help to alleviate the financial barriers that may be preventing mature students from earning a bachelor’s degree for the first time. Uversity provides two levels of financial support; €5,000 or €7,000 per annum. Payments are made monthly over the course of the degree programme and are subject to continued academic registration and progression.
