The Naughton Foundation Scholarships

The Naughton Scholarship for Leaving Certificate students is a reward for exceptional students who would like to study in the STEM field at University. This programme was established in 2008 to promote the study of engineering, science and technology at third level in Ireland. Leaving Certificate students from any county in the Republic of Ireland are eligible to apply. The school of each winning student also receives a prize for the school's science labs.  For information on how to apply, see here.

The scholarship promotes the study of STEM - engineering, science and technology at third level by students in Ireland. Each year from February to May Leaving Certificate students can apply for a scholarship if they intend to study a STEM subject at third level that year. The scheme is particularly interested in application from students applying for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics related subjects rather then the more practical sciences (Medicine, Nursing, Veterinary, Physiotherapy etc).
