The Junior Cycle is a good time to start thinking about different career options and considering what subjects you might choose for Leaving Cert. The Investigative person will usually find a particular area of science to be of interest. They are inclined toward intellectual and analytical activities and enjoy observation and theory. They may prefer thought to action, and enjoy the challenge of solving problems with sophiscticated technology. These types prefer mentally stimulating environments and often pay close attention to developments in their chosen field.

Michael Bohane works as a QA Manager for Teva Pharmaceuticals Ireland based in Waterford. Following his Leaving Cert he did a BSc and then a MSc in Biochemistry in UCC. He also did a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Practice (QP Qualification) allowing him to function as a QP and release product to market.
