What subjects did you take in school and how have these influenced your career path?
In school I studied Tech Design and absolutely loved the subject. I also studied several engineering courses in School. From there, I went onto University of Ulster to study Design Engineering. At the time I thought it was the only option of study for me but I soon realised it wasn’t my favourite part of the engineering industry. It’s good to explore the practical subjects available in school as well as the tech subjects, they include extremely valuable knowledge that will help you to determine if the engineering life is for you in the future.
