What subjects did you take in school and how have these influenced your career path?
In school I was always a history enthusiast and history was my first subject choice, for sure that what brought me to a museum. I had also studied Hospitality Management, although hotels didn’t really interest me and In my opinion now, a course with management in the title really needs a minimum age and/or work experience in advance or it is not fully understood.

Irish, English, Maths, French, Physics, Chemistry. For third level I had to chose between a degree in English and a degree in Science and I chose the B.Sc.

What subjects did you take in school and how have these influenced your career path?
Irish, English, French, Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Latin (I failed Latin(!) but only concentrated on 6 subjects because, at least at that time, all colleges only counted up to 6 subjects when calculating entry points). I stayed in Honours Maths and choose Physics in order to not rule out opting for engineering. I would not have done anything differently in hindsight.
