Works on a construction site building walls and other structures using bricks, blocks or other materials.

The craft of carpentry and joinery is varied. It includes setting out, production and assembly of joinery such as stairs, doors, windows, floors and built-in furniture.

The Electrical Instrumentation technician is concerned with the installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical wiring systems including pneumatic, electrical, electro-mechanical, electronic, micro-processor and computer-based equipment.

Electronic security system (ESS) technicians deal with proper installation and maintenance of burglar alarms, fire alarms, closed circuit security, cameras and access control systems.

A Farrier is a skilled craftsperson who combines blacksmithing skills with equine studies  and specialises in making and fitting shoes for all types of horses.
