A Motor Mechanic is a skilled technician who services, diagnoses and resolves technical concerns with light passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. This apprenticeship programme covers a range of key motor mechanic skills and knowledge which are essential in the workplace. The programme consists of 7 phases in total combining a mixture of ‘on the job’ learning and on campus training.

With this four-year apprenticeship, you will become a fully qualified motor mechanic, with a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Motor Mechanics.

You may then choose to work as a motor mechanic in the motor industry in a dealership, repair shop or test centres like the NCT.

The BA (Hons) in Music is a four year full-time degree which aims to give the student a well-rounded third level music education. The undergraduate music degree programme at the School of Arts and Humanities at Ulster University is based around four core elements: Performance, Composition, Musicology and Music Technology.

Year 1 is designed to provide students with a comprehensive overview of musical styles, genres and disciplines enabling them to develop existing skills and interests as well as acquire a range of new ones. Note: All year 1 modules are compulsory for BMus students.

Year 2 allows students the opportunity to begin specialising by introducing a number of optional modules as well as level 2 modules in the four core disciplines.
