Study Finance, Economics, Mathematics and a choice of languages or Computer Science. Learn how the financial system works – how assets are traded, international markets are linked, government policy decisions affect the economy and how financial markets respond. 

This course is aimed at learners who wish to pursue a career in the International Financial services sector or gain an eligible qualification for entry to the IFS Associate apprenticeship programme. On successful completion of the course the learner will have developed the core knowledge, skills and competencies required for entry roles in the financial services sector.

This course provides students with the opportunity to study contemporary modules in e-business, web design, media planning, food and drink tourism, procurement and tourism planning and policy. 

Students will undertake a six month professional internship in Ireland or with international partners of the college department abroad. Additionally, students will be able to study French, German, or Spanish thereby maximising their employability.

The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in International Hotel Management is a four-year full time programme. This programme has a long-established excellent reputation and was the first hotel management degree to be offered in Ireland. International Relations and Irish allows students to appreciate how the insights of political analysis (e.g. political theory, political institutions, international relations) and the tools of literary and linguistic inquiry combine to illuminate political and historical developments, including those in the contemporary world.

The Joint Honours Programme in International Relations and Politics will provide you with an in-depth, interdisciplinary understanding of contemporary politics, international affairs and conflict situations in their political, historical, cultural, economic and legal dimensions.

Dedicated modules will introduce you to core concepts and debates in International Relations and the study of conflict, as well as European integration. You will acquire familiarity with the experiences of differing national polities and societies, facilitating the development of cross-national comparisons.

Students studying International Relations and Spanish appreciate how the insights of political analysis (e.g. political theory, political institutions, international relations) and the tools of literary and linguistic inquiry combine to illuminate political and historical developments, including those in the contemporary world.

The degree takes four years to complete (which includes the study abroad year).
